Probably the coolest tribute yet in surfing. AI: Andy Irons. There's the Eddie contest, and the Duke Invitational, but those are just reasons to go charge, not tangible tributes. This Stab Mag concept is different. Dane Reynolds, Kolohe Andino, and Noa Deane take four of Andy's boards on a boat trip and rip the shit out of them, in AI fashion, hacking the lip like it's some mainland kook, gouging long backside floaters, going for broke. The guys talk about Andy's influence and legend status, and gnarler/brother Bruce Irons adds his own weight to the conversation. What better way to remember Andy than to get his boards back in the water, with surfers like Kolohe, Noa, and Dane?
